I’ll now tell you about the “diet” plan I followed, which helped me lose about a pound per day and was also rather healthy.And, in case you are wondering the word diet is in quotes because that word can really conjure up the wrong ideas.
I use the term “diet” to refer to what, how much, and how frequently I consume for the purposes of this essay.. I don’t mean diet in the terms of fasting or consuming very little food that I experience hunger and deprivation (which is a stupid strategy that never works).
Therefore, these are the simple weight-loss techniques I used, and I lost six pounds in a single week:
Firstly, I consumed more food during the day! Weird huh? Still, I didn’t only stuff myself with foods heavy in calories but lacking in nutrients. I ate food that fueled my body. food that maintained a high metabolic rate in me.
That means that no matter what I was doing; watching t.v., sleeping, etc.—I was burning more fat. My metabolic “furnace” was just going and going and going.
- I had five or six meals a day. The majority of my meals and snacks included the same kinds of foods: some fresh vegetables like spinach or a salad, some lean protein like chicken, fish, or shellfish, and a little quantity of carbohydrates like some rice or pasta.
I would also have fruit during the day. I focused mostly on the food I was putting into my body. I tried to concentrate of foods that were going to provide my body with needed nutrients, not just useless calories.
- I gained six pounds over the first week, and I wasn’t doing anything unusual at the time other than eating these little, wholesome meals all day long.I hadn’t increased my exercise at all. I did make an effort to consume more water.
I’ve never been a huge fan of all the devices, potions, and pills that promise weight reduction. Giving your body what it needs in the appropriate amounts and at the right times is, in my opinion, the key to effortless weight loss. That’s the main goal of my “diet”.
